A Summer Wedding in West Sussex

Partying late into the night at Alice & Mark’s Nutbourne Vineyard Wedding

On a blisteringly hot Summers day, I headed to West Sussex for the Nutbourne Vineyard Wedding of Alice & Mark.

I started my day with some photographs of the business of the preparations with the bride and her family.

In this case, Alice was getting ready at the lovely Amberley Castle, a few minutes walk from St Michael's Church, where the ceremony would take place.

The short walk through the lovely village Amberley allowed me to get to the church in plenty of time to capture Mark and his guests arriving.

It was a sweltering day, but that didn't stop the military uniforms from being shown off in all their splendour.

The wedding took place in the lovely church, with the Reverend Gerry Burgess presiding and making the ceremony fun, touching and joyful.

Once the ceremony was over, Mark and Alice exited to the obligatory military sword line-up and confetti.

Once they had greeted their guests, it was time for the short drive over the South Downs to Nutbourne Vineyards.

I hope you enjoyed the Photofilm. You'll notice that all the images in the film are monochromatic, which I think gives a romantic, timeless feel to the film.

However, all my clients now get every image in colour and monochrome, so if you are considering me as your documentary wedding photographer, you will also receive all the stills in both formats.

Nutbourne Vineyard is a family-run, boutique vineyard in the heart of West Sussex, with wildflower meadows, alpacas, lakes and stunning views. I’m not sure Alice and Mark could have picked a more appropriate place for a wedding on a hot Summer’s day.

Once the guests arrived, it was time for the Wedding Breakfast and traditional speeches.

Of course, the cake was cut with a military sword before Alice & Mark led the guests over to the outside dancefloor for an evening of music, fun and foot-tapping.

I hope you enjoy looking through the lovely Nutbourne Vineyard Wedding photographs of Alice & Mark.
