Lovely Summer Wedding of Hayley & Daniel

Beautiful home wedding in the North Wales Countryside

It was a hot July day when I travelled to North Wales to photograph Hayley and Daniel's lovely wedding.

It was a true celebration of love and laughter with close friends and family. The weather was perfect for the home marquee venue and, much like Amy and Ed's Wedding in Hertfordshire the week before, allowed the guests to embrace the day entirely.

North Wales Wedding Photographer - The Photofilm

All my clients receive a 4K photofilm, compiled of a series of images that showcase their weddings for friends and family. The Photofilm is perfect, of course, for keeping on smartphones or tablets but more importantly as a constant and easily accessible reminder of the wedding day.

Click the play button on the film below to follow Hayley and Daniel’s wedding day.

Hi Kevin,

Thank you so much for documenting our wedding so perfectly we adore all the photos and emotions you have managed to capture throughout the day.

Watching the video really does feel like we are reliving the day.

Thank you again they are just perfect and exactly what we were hoping for.

Bridal Prep

My day started at Hayley's parents' family farm. And what a unique and wonderful place it was. The last-minute preparations were still happening around us as Hayley, and her bridal party put the finishing touches on their hair and makeup.

Once I'd finished, it was time for the 20-minute drive to St. Matthews Church in Buckley along the coast.

The Wedding Ceremony

St. Matthew's is a glorious traditional Church on the outskirts of Buckley. Daniel was greeting his friends and family until moments before Hayley arrived with her Dad and Bridal Party.

It was lovely to see Hayley greeted by their little boy, who couldn't quite determine why mum was dressed in a flowing white dress.

The Wedding Ceremony itself was also conducted with much fun and grace by the vicar, who made everybody feel a part of the occasion.

Once outside, it was time for confetti and the drive back to the farm.

North Wales Wedding Reception

As mentioned, the sun was shining, and the ambience in the garden for the drinks reception was lovely.

After a couple of hours, it was time for speeches which were, as is often the case, very emotional but also humorous.

As a Documentary Wedding Photographer, I love shooting these types of locations. As the drinks flowed, people bumped into others they hadn't seen in years, drinking games commenced, and spontaneous garden games started, all before cutting the cake and dancing.

As I took my leave, I knew that the evening would go on into the small hours, and this was a day that Hayley and Daniel would remember for the rest of their lives.

A Little Note about these Wedding Photographs

You might be wondering what makes my style of Wedding Photography different? Well, I'm a documentary wedding photographer, which, in essence, means candid. This style of wedding photography enabled Hayley and Daniel (and all my clients) to spend their entire day freely with their friends and family while I concentrated on telling the story of their wedding through pictures.

Every photograph you see here and throughout this entire website are real moments that happened. I don't stage or direct my clients on their wedding day; their only role is to relax and enjoy it.
