The Wedding of Thomas & Elizabeth at Notley Abbey
Summer Wedding of Elizabeth & Thomas
Notley Abbey Wedding Photographer - Selected Stills
I'm taking us back in the archives, to 2015, for this lovely wedding at Notley Abbey of Elizabeth & Thomas.
As I'm writing these notes, I'm also preparing to photograph another wedding tomorrow.
It is a beautiful wedding venue that is part of Bijou Weddings nestled in the Buckinghamshire countryside.
According to Wikipedia, Notley Abbey was an Augustinian abbey founded in the 12th century near Long Crendon. A team from Oxford excavated Notley Abbey in 1937, establishing a layout and timeline of the building's construction. The building has been visited by notable figures such as Henry V and was once owned by the celebrities Laurence Olivier and Vivien Leigh.
It's been some time since Elizabeth and Thomas said their wedding vows there, but I still remember the day vividly. A warm, pleasant summer's day awash with children and happy family and friends.
Destination: Buckinghamshire
Venue: Notley Abbey
Setting: Country Wedding
