Fazeley Studios Weddings ~ The Wedding of Rose & Thomas

Many of my friends in the industry had told me how cool Fazeley Studios Weddings are, and they weren't wrong.

I had never photographed at Fazeley Studios in Birmingham until Rose and Thomas's wedding.

I have to say, and as a pure documentary wedding photographer, I feel quite blessed in the U.K. with all the fantastic wedding venues we have.

Whether they are grand castles, small hotels or tucked away converted industrial units like this one, they all give me an excellent opportunity to photograph stories.

And we really appreciate the split between the colour and the black and white images - it will make for some tricky decisions I’m sure, but we’re delighted to have the options.

My day started at Fazeley Studios, where Thomas and his groomsmen were greeting the arriving guests.

The ceremony itself seemed to pass in a whizz, but it was gorgeous.

Thomas's brother's as best men, and Rose's proud dad put the icing on a touching service where it was clear to see that everybody there genuinely cared for the newlyweds.

Once the ceremony was done, it was time for some drinks, some bubbles outside, speeches and an incredible first dance which was performed by Thomas' brother - who, incidentally, has a fantastic voice and guitar playing skills.
