Summer Outdoor Wedding of Laura & Max

Beautiful Eastnor Castle Wedding Photography for Laura & Max

It was a sweltering July day when Laura and Max got married at the magnificent Eastnor Castle.

Eastnor Castle, Eastnor, in Herefordshire, was built for The 1st Earl Somers, who employed Robert Smirke as his architect. The castle was built between 1811–1820.

The weather was so fine for Laura and Max that the ceremony was to be held outside in the shadow of the castle itself.

Eastnor Castle Wedding Photography - The Photofilm

All my clients receive a 4K photofilm, compiled of a series of images that showcase their weddings for friends and family. The Photofilm is perfect, of course, for keeping on smartphones or tablets but more importantly as a constant and easily accessible reminder of the wedding day.

Click the play button on the film below to follow Laura and Max’s wedding day.

Bridal Prep at Eastnor Castle

My day started with Laura and her bridal party getting ready in the room overlooking the lake.

A busy but exciting time as Laura, her mum, dad, and friends buzzed around putting the final touches on Laura's fantastic dress.

Once ready, Laura and her Dad walked down the iconic staircase and out (through the window) into the blazing sunshine.

Wedding Ceremony at Eastnor Castle

The ceremony itself was a romantic and touching one. Laura and Max live in Luxembourg, and Laura's favourite French word is hibou - which means Owl.

Unknown to Max, Laura had decided to have the wedding rings delivered by a hibou, and, with a few minor exceptions, all went to plan.

The ceremony was conducted in the shadow of the castle, and once completed, Laura, Max and their friends and family took the stroll up to the balcony (and the shade) for their drinks reception.

Eastnor Castle Wedding Photography - The Speeches

The Speeches were a mixture of English and French, and were conducted in the formal room - which had been decorated to perfection.

Each speech highlighted a few (funny) secrets of Laura and Max's past. Some people shed a few tears and lots of belly-laughs across the large room.

Then it was time for dancing.

Eastnor Castle Wedding Photography - The Dancing

I had been commissioned until midnight, and the evening dancing did not disappoint. Even though the weather was balmy outside, there was plenty of dancing.

I left as the party continued, and I know Laura and Max had a wonderful wedding day, and these wedding photos will be a long and timely reminder of a fantastic day.
