It was back in April last year when I was the Dewsall Court Wedding Photographer for Kim and Paul.

Dewsall Court is a delightful self-contained wedding venue in the Herefordshire countryside located right by the very quaint and typically English named Much Dewchurch.

For that reason, Kim and Paul decided to get married in the church that is literally at the bottom of the garden.

Above all, it is a beautiful place. After I'd spent some time with Kim, her mum and the ironing board, I headed downstairs where Kim's dad was waiting to greet his daughter.

Thank you so much for being our Dewsall Court Wedding Photographer. Paul says they are the best wedding photos he has ever seen. When I first showed them to him, I heard mumblings of Vermeer and Caravaggio. A little dramatic, perhaps, but I understand what he means. For me, they are the gift that keeps giving.

Each time I look at them, I notice another feature, another expression, another smiling face. They really do capture the spirit of the day and joy just leaps from the images. You have also been incredibly generous, ensuring that none of our guests was left out. We really appreciate that.

After the ceremony, the weather was beginning to turn but just about held off. Kim had organised a beautiful gospel choir who were mesmerising, and it was lovely to walk back to the main house with the guests while listening to their voices.

After that, we headed to the barn for some speeches and dancing. Certainly, as I left as the party was in full swing, but I'm very much looking forward to being a Dewsal Court wedding photographer again shortly.
