Bury Court Barn Wedding Photographer
My day started, as it often does, at mum and dads house for bridal prep photos.
There seemed to be a little confusion at this point regarding the ribbons for the car.
More specifically, how to tie the bows. A quick google and Dad had it sorted in a matter of a couple of minutes. Phew! I moved from the house to Yateley Baptist Church, where the ceremony was to take place. It seems rarer these days to shoot weddings in churches, but I always love them.No matter the denomination, there is still a welcome, and this wedding at Yateley Baptist Church was no exception.
There were a couple of cheeky characters at the wedding, and I adore photographing little kids during the service. Oh, and there is nothing like taking a short nap just as mum and dad are saying their wedding vows : - )
Once the confetti was thrown, we all jumped in our cars and headed over to The Barn at Bury Court.
Bury Court Barn Wedding Photographer - The Venue
This happened to be my third time at The Barn at Bury Court in the space of a couple of months.
It's an excellent barn conversion, with flowing gardens and plenty of space both inside and out. With the weather rapidly turning against us, we had a few moments to get some group shots before heading inside for the wedding breakfast and speeches.
Working, as I so, as a pure documentary wedding photographer, The Barn at Bury Court offers excellent shooting opportunities.
I love shooting through people to cast an eye on an unseen moment, a nervous Dad practising his speech, or the little ones being shown around by proud parents or even Guns n Roses being played on the piano.
All these moments are crucial as a visual storyteller, and they come together as a curated set of images that tell the true story of the wedding day.
