The Barnsley House Wedding Photography of Claire & Oliver

Barnsley House is a luxury spa hotel in the Cotswolds, not far from my home town of Malmesbury.

The wedding ceremony of Claire and Oliver was in the Catholic Church of St. Aldhelm's in the middle of Malmesbury. It's the church I attend regularly, and it was a lovely ceremony presided over by my good friend Deacon Steve.

Before the ceremony, I spent some time with Claire and her family at Barnsley House, where the excitement was tangible. Claire and her family are Irish, many of whom had travelled from the Emerald Isle for the wedding.

A short drive back to Malmesbury and time for a very touching ceremony. Deacon Steve sent Claire and Olver down the aisle as husband and wife with a memorable "turnaround; your future is that way."

The autumn sunshine greeted us, and after the traditional confetti, it was back up through the meandering lanes to Barnsley House for the rest of the celebrations.

Although it was late September, the weather was still kind, and Claire and Oliver had even opted for an open-sided marquee in the sumptuous gardens for the wedding breakfast and speeches.

After that, it was party time, and, as I was with Claire, Oliver and their friends and family until midnight, I got to see them party.

I hope you enjoy looking at these wedding photographs as much as I enjoyed creating them. And I know Claire and Olver will have a long and happy marriage.
