This is more than a photo walk. With a maximum of just six participants, every workshop is built to give you personal guidance, real-time feedback, and the confidence to shoot with purpose.

What to Expect on the Day
Most workshops run from 2 pm to 6 pm — ideal for catching great light and avoiding rush hour travel.
We’ll usually start with coffee, introductions, and a short theory session before heading out for a full afternoon of guided shooting, exercises, and one-to-one support.
There’s usually a short break halfway through to regroup and recharge.
After the workshop, you’ll also be invited to a complimentary online editing session to pick up a few post-processing tips.

Who These Workshops Are For
These workshops are for anyone who loves photography and wants to tell stories with their camera — whether you're just starting out or have years of experience behind you.
You don’t need a top-end camera. In fact, you could turn up with a phone if you wish. What matters is curiosity, the willingness to slow down, and a desire to learn how to really see — to observe light, people, and the quiet details happening all around us.
The pace is gentle, with regular stops for tuition and no sprints — though we do walk a fair bit over the course of the sessions. If you’re comfortable being on your feet for a few hours, you’ll be just fine.
I’ve worked with total beginners, keen hobbyists, professional photographers, and people simply looking to reconnect with their creativity.

We use public spaces around the city, which are typically accessible — though terrain and access can vary slightly depending on the location. If you have specific needs, feel free to get in touch before booking.

Yes — rain or shine, we hit the streets. Only in extreme cases (e.g. official travel warnings or severe weather alerts) would we postpone or cancel a workshop.

You can attend if you’re accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the workshop. Please drop us a message before booking so we can confirm details.

If we have to cancel due to low numbers or other unforeseen circumstances, you’ll receive a full refund — no problem.

We can’t offer refunds if you cancel, but in exceptional circumstances, we may be able to reschedule you to another workshop. Just get in touch and we’ll do our best to help.

Not at all. You can bring a DSLR, mirrorless, compact, or even a phone. The focus of the workshop is on learning to see and shoot with purpose — not on gear. If you're not sure what to bring, just ask.

We usually walk a fair bit, but at a steady pace with plenty of stops. If you’re comfortable being on your feet for a few hours, you’ll be absolutely fine.

Most of the one-day workshops are fully street-based and hands-on. After the event, you’ll be invited to a complimentary online editing session where we’ll talk through some post-processing tips.

Yes — every workshop is kept small (just six people max) so there’s time for individual attention, feedback, and support as we go.

Absolutely. Everything you shoot during the workshop is yours to use however you like (within the law of the land).
