Level of Experience: Novice. This workshop will be valuable to those just beginning with Fujifilm cameras or those looking to get a little more out of their gear.
This Fujifilm Workshop is for SIX delegates only.
This session is for just six people and will last for approximately three hours.
You’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have (and get answers) and gain a complete understanding of how I use my Fujifilm cameras.
You’ll already have a Fujifilm camera, and topics we could cover (though this would be driven partly by your requirements) include:
Understanding how the exposure triangle works
Using Back Button Focusing
Understanding what all the menu options mean
Working better with custom settings
And much more…

I've been an official Fujifilm ambassador for many years. As part of this role I often speak at events for Fujifilm in places as wide ranging as Photokina in Germany, Store Openings in China, Fujifilm Festivals in The United States and many other places.

Janet Batchelor This is an excellent three-hour workshop where Kevin goes through optimal camera settings and explains the rationale for each. I gained a much greater understanding of my camera settings and functions and with a maximum number of just five attendees, there was plenty of opportunity for individual questions and attention. The latter part of the workshop was spent out on the streets practising techniques such as spot metering and zone focusing. Kevin is a great teacher who is skilled at explaining and demonstrating topics in a way that is easy to understand and apply in practice. I came away with new knowledge and skills that I was immediately able to put to good use. Highly recommend this workshop.

Having used a Nikon DSLR for many years I was struggling to master my Fuji mirrorless camera. Kevin talked us through the basic set up of the camera and progressed us through to working in manual and metering for the light. My camera was relighted to the back of the cupboard but as a result of a morning with Kevin, I am now more confident to get back out and practice. Would recommend the workshop.

It was a pleasure to meet Kevin. This was an excellent workshop; I have had my XT1 for a number years but as a Canon user had only really picked it up on holiday and I knew I wasn't using it to it's full potential...no more! My menu is now set up as advised by Kevin and makes much more sense in terms of ease of use. The street photography part of the course was extremely helpful...I really enjoy this genre of photography and hearing about Kevin's approach gave me a lot to think about and opened my eyes to another way of approaching shooting in open spaces and in public. What a fantastic little workshop! Intimate (only three participants), and tailored to exactly what we needed to learn. In a few short hours I learnt a few skills that will help my work enormously. Kevin explained everything very simply and demonstrated the practical applications. Another few very worthwhile hours spent with an understated man with an encyclopedic knowledge of all things Fuji. No question is a stupid question with Kevin. I have also always found his general attitude to photography exceptionally refreshing. I leave his workshop much better informed and always inspired and never scared or intimated which a lot of pro photographers have a tendency to do with novices like me. I saw Kevin for the first time back a year ago at one of the Photography Show’s lectures and he opened my eyes to a new style of photography and of course to the world of Fuji. I haven’t looked back since.
