Birth Photography in London

We started the day photographing M at home with mum and dad. I've shot her several times, including her birth in London nearly three years previously.

You can see that story here if you wish.

However, today was as much about M as it was about her new baby brother who was about to be born. I went with mum and dad to the hospital and had the pleasure to document their time there, including the birth of their lovely new son.

Below are a set of stills; some of my favourites from the whole day in the Life session.

I’m a firm believer in that there is a story to be told in even the most seemingly mundane of everyday events.

Even if those events are having breakfast, or tidying a room. The connection between people is very precious, and as we all remember from our childhood, the comfort we get from our parents just doing everyday things is compelling.

I like, to tell these stories in my images.
