We Did It - At Islington Town Hall

Why I Love this Wedding Photograph

An incredibly happy moment from this wedding at Islington Town Hall

It was early summer when I photographed the wedding of Alex and Clementine at The Council Chambers and Islington Town Hall.

I remember it vividly as it was a riot of fun and laughter from the moment the guests met early in the morning until the final dance late at night.

There was one moment that I remember so well, and it was the moment Clementine and Alex realised that they had done it. They had gotten married.

You can’t stage these kinds of photographs, and as a professional documentary wedding photographer I am always on the lookout for these moments.

It’s impossible not to smile when I see this wedding photograph, and I hope it has the same effect on you.

Even though you don’t know Alex and Clementine, I feel this photograph gives a real insight into their personalities, and perhaps more importantly, the evident love and devotion to each other.

It is a Wedding Photograph that I’m proud of, one that I love, and I hope you enjoy looking at it too.
