A Beautiful Christmas Wedding at Doxford Barns
Just before Christmas, I made the drive up to Alnwick in Northumberland. The journey up on Friday had been long, being the last working day before the Christmas break and terrible weather conditions.
However, come the day of the wedding, despite the chill, the skies were clear, and the wedding proceeded at the barn.

As is often the case with weddings in the deep of winter, the colours outside were muted, but the staff at Doxford Barns had done an incredible job in turning the venue into a winter wonderland.
The ceremony was in the oldest part of the barn before everybody moved into the plush interior.
After speeches and beer ping pong, it was time for the Jamie and Emma and their guests to let their hair down on the dancefloor.
A charming wedding and Jamie himself is a very accomplished photographer. It’s always lovely to be entrusted with the wedding photography of another photographer.
