Intensive Documentary Storytelling

This unique session will see you get to grips to Documentary Storytelling.

  • Day 1 (am): Studio - Conceptualisation and planning.

  • Day 1 (pm): A guided exploration of Malmesbury with a newly found photographic eye.

  • Day 2: Assignment in the local community.

    • You will be allocated a local business or community initiative to spend the day with. Photographing with a view to creating a visual story. You will be expected to work to their schedule so expect early morning and a long day. Kevin will visit each of you during the day.

  • Day 3 (am): Studio - Editing and Curation. Kevin will discuss how to curate and edit your work concisely.

  • Day 3 (pm): Studio - Spend the afternoon culling and editing your project.

  • Day 4: Studio - Preparing and Presenting the Project

    • You will have access to printers and presentation screens. Each of you will present your work and gain valuable feedback from the group.

We will concentrate on building pictures and stories using the sound principles of; Light, Composition and Moment.

This session is strictly limited to Six photographers only.
Fee covers eduction, lunch (four days) and dinner (three evenings).
