The Castle Westenhanger Wedding of Issie & Graham
The Castle Westenhanger in Kent is a castle wedding venue nestled in 14 acres of magnificent countryside. The castle is an ancient monument with a Grade 1 listed manor house. It enjoys a rich history and has been connected to many notable figures, including Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth I.
On a balmy October afternoon, the notable people Issie and Graham chose The Castle and the grounds as their location for a very relaxed and informal wedding.
My day started just before the ceremony as the guests enjoyed the warm weather and greeted old and new faces.
The ceremony was in the manor house, and it was a joy to see the happiness on Issie's face as she walked down the aisle to her awaiting groom.
Once the "I do's" were completed and confetti tossed, it was back into the manor house for some brief but emotional and humorous speeches before the wedding breakfast in the purpose-built marquee.
It was genuinely lovely to spend time with Issie, Graham, and their friends and family.
