Suffolk Wedding - The Photofilm

The central part of the day was to be at Harriet's family home, and that's where I started with some bridal prep photography.

After that, I took a very short drive to meet Thomas and his guests at the glorious St Mary Magdalene church, Debenham.

It was an incredible day, weather-wise, and the sun gods surely looked down on Harriet and Thomas. Before you look at some of my favourite stills from Debenham Wedding, you may like to take a look at the Photofilm.

As you may know, if you've looked around my website, my style is one of a Documentary Wedding Photographer.

If you don't know what that means, don't worry - you won't be alone.

Mostly, as a documentary wedding photographer, I let my clients be with their friends and family for the whole wedding. It seems strange to me, if people have planned their day for years, and spent so much money on it, that they then spend a large percentage of that day with just one person - the wedding photographer.

Therefore, that's not how I operate, and my clients love the fact that I go about my job quickly and empathetically. For instance, I aim to capture all the emotion, fun, moments and intimate details - as they happen. No "say cheese" moments and no step ladders and demands!

The Suffolk Wedding of Harriet and Thomas was, of course, beautiful.

All weddings are. It was lovely to see Harriet's grandfather playing such an essential part of the day, and the characters, the little bridesmaids and page boy were delightful.
