Wonderful Spring Outdoor Wedding at Notley Abbey of Melissa-Rose & William
Melissa-Rose & William were married in a lovely Spring outdoor ceremony at the incredible Notley Abbey.
As I recently mentioned in my Notely Abbey Wedding Photographer blog post, the venue is a beautiful Augustinian abbey founded in the 12th century near Long Crendo, Buckinghamshire.
It is a joy to work here as a Documentary Wedding Photographer, and not only is the venue brilliant, but the staff are always helpful and give their full attention throughout the day to the guests.
I started my day in the Bridal Suite with Melissa-Rose and her Bridesmaids before Dad appeared for that emotional first look at his daughter.

All my clients receive a 4K photofilm, compiled of a series of images that showcase their weddings for friends and family. The Photofilm is perfect, of course, for keeping on smartphones or tablets but more importantly as a constant and easily accessible reminder of the wedding day.

One of the great benefits of these large country wedding venues is the opportunity for weddings outdoors.
Imagine having your wedding in the gardens that Henry V, Vivien Leigh and Laurence Olivier wandered through!
Once that lovely ceremony had been completed, it was time for drinks at the front of the house, before dinner, speeches and some brilliant dancing, courtesy of the incredible London Function Band.
Melissa-Rose & William had commissioned me until midnight to cover every moment of their Notley Abbey Wedding, though they were still dancing when I left. And rightly so, as it was a day that nobody wanted to end.
