Northamptonshire Wedding

Back in September, Sophs and Daniel commissioned me for their Northamptonshire Wedding, which turned out to be one amazingly epic wedding!

The wedding was to be held at Sophs family home, with the ceremony at the nearby All Saints Church in Aldwincle, Oundle.

I started my day with Sophs as she got ready with her mum and chief bridesmaid before taking the short walk to the church to capture Daniel and some of the guests arriving.

The weather, even though it was late autumn, was glorious and the sunshine set the tone for what was to be an incredible wedding.

Sophs and Daniel are a fantastic couple, with a massive zest for life, and it was so easy to see why they are together.

Sophs had explicitly asked for a fast-motion Photo Film which you can see below:

Wedding Photographer Northamptonshire – Fast-Motion Photo Film:

The film below is around 11 minutes long.  I'll explain a little more once you've watched it.

It's fast-paced, with a soundtrack that seemingly fits the wedding day.

A note about these Fast-Motion Photo films

These films are great fun to produce, and more of my clients have requested them for 2019.

They offer a pretty unique view of your wedding and while not suitable for every wedding, those clients who do have them love having a quirky reminder of their whole wedding day.

I have died! Thank you so so much I have the biggest chills and it is absolutely phenomenally incredible. You are a genius nd thank you a thousand time over!! - Sophie & Daniel

Northamptonshire Wedding Photographer - The Stills

Once the ceremony had been completed, confetti was thrown, and a few group shots were taken, it was back to the beautifully manicured gardens for the marquee wedding reception.

Below is a small selection of some of my personal favourites from Sophie and Daniel's wedding.

As a documentary style wedding photographer, it's a beautiful privilege to be able to simply wander, watch and experience the magic of these events.

I'm a real documentary wedding photographer, and this means that except for the small selection of group shots, every image I make for my clients is an accurate memory.

A real moment in time that occurred in real life.

The wedding images, as I was as this Northamptonshire Wedding Photographer, I make are not staged or directed in any way.

"I feel and behave like any other guest at a wedding and blend in with the view to making a true and curated set of memories that will last a lifetime."

Once the garden party had come to an end with some beautiful and funny speeches, it was time to head inside for some dancing and partying.

I genuinely loved being Sophi and Daniels Northamptonshire Wedding Photographer, and I love their wedding photos.

I hope you do too.

I have died!

Thank you so so much I have the biggest chills and it is absolutely phenomenally incredible.

You are a genius and thank you a thousand times over- thanks for the pics too I’m sure hey will be insane
— Sophie

A wedding to me is an event that should be documented quietly an authentically.

Whenever I’m present at a wedding, as I was as this Northamptonshire Wedding Photographer, I see it as a privilege but also as my responsibility to be the curator of memories for the bride and groom.

The pictures I make for people at their wedding are not just for them; they are for their children and their children’s children.

My approach and philosophy to photographing weddings are as a storyteller.

Just like my remit was as this Northamptonshire Wedding Photographer, I want my clients to look at their wedding images and remember the exact moment in time.

I have no intervention with the images.

Every single image on this website is a real moment in time; a moment that has happened without any direction or guidance from me, the photographer.

Even though I have no interaction with the moment in the photographs, I am still bound by the core principles of good photography;

notably, the understanding of light, composition and moment.

I believe that first and foremost, I am an observer at a wedding.

Anybody can press the shutter button on a camera, but only the person behind the lens can see what they are seeing.

My ultimate goal is to tell the true story of my clients day through beautiful, emotion-filled photography that is an authentic documentary of their wedding.
