Natural Wedding Photography
A Marquee Wedding in Lincolnshire
As you will likely be aware, I specialise in photographing naturally. This gives my clients and their guests maximum time together on their wedding day.
What is Natural Wedding Photography?
Natural Wedding Photography is a way of photographing a wedding without any intervention or direction.
Instead of the traditional formal photography, natural wedding photography allows the clients to relax and enjoy their day. Back in June, I headed up to Spalding and Gosberton to photograph the wedding of Florence and Andy.
The previous week had seen some very inclement weather in Lincolnshire, and while the sun periodically showed its face for this wedding, there were some considerable rainstorms during the day.
Florence & Andy's Wedding – The Standard Photo film
Below, you will see the Wedding Photo Film from their day. Be sure to turn the sound up and go full screen for the whole experience.
Some of my favourite stills from the Wedding
Below are some of my personal favourite stills from Florence and Andy's Wedding.
In this case, I found myself starting the day shooting the bridal prep at Florence's family home near Spalding.
It's always a privilege to be invited into people's homes at this time of the day, and both Florence and her family not only made me feel very welcome but also totally embraced the Natural Wedding Photography philosophy that I adopt.
Wedding Ceremony at St. Peter and St. Paul's Church, Gosberton
St. Peter and St. Paul's Church, Gosberton is a large and magnificent village church with lots of history.
Apparently, its spire nearly reaches 200 feet above the street and the tower would give amazing views of the fens and even beyond.
As Florence arrived for the ceremony, and a nervous Andy waited at the altar, the rain started to fall.
Luckily, at this point, it was just specking rain, but it was to return in a vengeance later as you will see.
The ceremony itself was gorgeous, and the newly married couple emerged into sunshine and a flurry of confetti.
It was brilliant to see some very English wedding traditions at this wedding and the beer cans attached to the back of the tractor (once Dad and friends had managed to make it go), was a lovely touch.
Marquee and Drinks Reception
Once back at the family home, the partying began in earnest.
Lots of congratulations laughs and love.... before the rain came down in biblical fashion.

The Fast Motion Photo film
Below, you will see the Fast Motion Photo Film which is a unique offering that some of my clients opt for.
The Fast Motion Photo Film is something that some clients choose in their package. It is essentially an elongated Photo Film which, I think, tells the whole absolute story of their wedding.
It is fun, long, and entertaining. Be sure to turn the sound up and go full screen for the whole experience. The Fast Motion Photofilm idea was born at the French Wedding of Emily and Paddy who are friends of Florence and were in fact guests at this wedding.
Another set of guests at the this Lincolnshire Wedding, Soph's and Daniel, were also at this wedding and I also created a Fast Motion Photo Film for their Northamptonshire Wedding. Press play below, and once again, turn the sound up and go full screen for the best effect.
It was lovely to be the Wedding Photographer for Flo and Andy.
I hope you like the images as much as I do.
