Langley Priory Wedding Photographer, Derbyshire
Early last summer I was thrilled to shoot the Langley Priory wedding of Holly and Henry.
Langley Priory, Derbyshire is one of those unusual wedding venues that offer fantastic facilities, beautiful settings and incredible attention to detail.
I started my day mingling with the early guests arriving, before heading upstairs to catch Holly greeting her parents.
After that, I knew it was going to be a very emotional wedding.

According to Wikipedia, Langley Priory is a former Benedictine nunnery in Derbyshire, England. It is located around a mile and a half south of East Midlands Airport; around a mile from the village of Diseworth.

Cricket anybody?
Once the small gathering of guests had assembled in the library, it was time for a very intimate and tender wedding ceremony.
As with many weddings, the usual struggles with getting the rings on were followed by a lovely first kiss before Holly and Henry and their guests gathered in the gardens for drinks.
Therefore, being proud Derbyshire folk, this is when the cricket started. As a Documentary Wedding Photographer, it's great to see some of the unique aspects of every wedding unfold.
After a few overs on the lawn, the guests went back to the library of Langley Priory for their wedding breakfast and speeches.
It was clear to see during the speeches how much Holly and Henry meant not only to each other but also to their friends and family.
After that, a few more overs of cricket followed before the evening party began and I took my leave. In conclusion, it was an honour to be their wedding photographer.
