Chateau de Ribaute Wedding - Ed & Sevilay
Late last summer I photographed the gorgeous Chateau de Ribaute Wedding of Ed and Sevilay.
Chateau de Ribaute is an incredible complex of hideaway-villas and landscape near Lieuran-lès-Béziers in South West France.
I headed to the South of France on a Friday and arrived around the same time as the guests were heading out for the evening.
This gave me a chance to explore the grounds and see the incredible venue in the late summer sunshine. Early the next morning, I started my day as I often do, with the girls during bridal prep—Lot's of fizz and giggles and a real sense of anticipation for the day ahead.
The weather for this Chateau de Ribaute Wedding had been spectacular the day before and remained so on the day of the wedding itself.
Ed and Sevilay chose to get married in the orchard, and this proved an excellent decision given perfect shade to the beating sunshine. Once the ceremony was completed, and the hugs and happiness shared, the guests headed back to the poolside.
After that, a quick walk back across the meadow to the Orangery where the table had been set for a delicious breakfast. Although this was a small gathering, there was plenty of fun and laughter, and I knew there would be a long night of dancing ahead.
Ed and Sevilay's wedding was wonderful.
