Iconic American street photographer, Bruce Gilden, joins Martin Parr for the third instalment in the MPF series 'Sofa Sessions: Conversations with Martin Parr'.

They talk about personal inspirations, being able to instantly engage with subjects and Bruce's recognisable use of flash, isolating the people he photographs.

They also discuss if knowing - or not knowing - the history of photography is important to producing engaging and original work.
