A Documentary Family Photography Session near Liverpool
Sharing a story about a family photography session
Documentary family photography is a style of photography that captures candid and natural moments in a family's daily life. It's less about posed portraits and more about highlighting the relationships and emotions between family members. Documentary family photography aims to create a visual story of a family's unique personality and dynamic. These types of photos often become cherished family heirlooms for generations to come.
I spent a lovely couple of hours earlier this Summer with N and his mum and dad.
As is often the case, there are plenty of photographs in the family album on N, but not so many of Mum and Dad interacting with him.
So Mum contacted me in the Spring and booked a two-hour mini Documentary Family Photography session.
It was a glorious summer day when I headed to Liverpool, and the weather played its part as N explored his house, garden and surrounding streets.
Documentary Family Photography is unique in its candid fashion. Whilst I also offer fine-art Studio Portraiture, the documentary family sessions are candid and allow me to create a pictorial legacy of the family that they can look back on forever.
