Hello everybody and welcome to my little Fujifilm GFX 50R Review.

Now, I have to say, this last couple of weeks has been incredibly hectic. Not only have I been shooting weddings and Day in the Life shoots but we've also seen the announcement of the Fujifilm X-T3 and now, perhaps the most eagerly awaited camera for me; the Fujifilm GFX 50R Medium Format Rangefinder Style Camera.

So, to that end, I'm really going to leave this Fujifilm GFX 50R Review entirely up to my YouTube video (which you can see below). The new Fujifilm GFX 50R

Fujifilm GFX 50R Review Video:

In the Fujifilm GFX 50R Review video, I talk about the camera, how I've been using the prototype and share a lot of images.

Because the Fujifilm GFX 50R is using an identical sensor to the GFX 50S I don't really talk too much about the technical elements.

Rather, I've concentrated on the differences between the Fujifilm GFX 50R and the 50S and why I believe the Fuji GFX 50R is the best choice for me right now (in the medium format offerings from Fujifilm).

Right at the end of the video, is a slideshow of a few more Fuji GFX 50R Images so hang around for that too if you can.

As always, please feel free to leave comments and questions below.  I'll do my best to answer them as soon as I can.

Fujifilm GFX 50R Review; The Camera

Here are a few more shots of the body.

Please remember that I have been using a very early prototype and as such, I do expect a few minor changes to the chassis of the camera I have been using - but only a small amount.

Photokina 2018

Fujifilm-Photokina.jpg

I just want to mention that I will be speaking at the Fujifilm booth at Photokina in Cologne this week (26 & 27 September 2018).

Along with my talks, my great friends Bert Stephani Jonas Rask, Patrick LaRoque will be there and of course others too, including the legendary Zack Arias.

This is the link to the Microsite so you can see what’s what’s on and honestly if you are there, please come and say hello.

It would be lovely to meet some of you.
