The Gentle Touch

Why I Love this Wedding Photograph

A Tender Moment between Anna and a Guest

From a Wedding at Stoke Park

This instalment of my “Why I Love This Wedding Photograph” series comes from 2015 when I was the Stoke Park Wedding Photographer for Anna & Simon.

It’s not difficult to see why this is a powerful picture, and, much like Don’t Cry, Dad, it’s an image that is crackling with love and emotion.

When I shoot weddings, and, indeed, when I speak to my students on my Wedding Photography Course, I’m constantly looking for the dual connections of human touch and eye contact.

It’s a real conduit between the relationships and whenever I photograph a moment like this, I know it will be one the clients will cherish forever.

I hope you like this wedding photograph as much as I do.

This post is part of my Why I Love this Wedding Picture series, where I describe why I, as the photographer, love a particular image or series of photographs.
