An Exhibition of my Wedding work at Fujifilm Headquarters, Tokyo
I've been working with Fujifilm in Tokyo to put together an exhibition of some of my wedding work at their gallery in Midtown, Tokyo.
When Tokyo first approached me a few months back with regards to this exhibition, I was totally stunned. Of course, I'm thrilled that they did and I'm very humbled in fact that they have gone to such efforts to make this exhibition of my work.
The exhibition runs from the 2nd of June through to the 22nd June and can be found in the exhibition area of Fujifilm Headquarters, Fujifilm Square, Midtown, Tokyo.
You can get more information on the exhibition from this link.
Sadly, because I have a busy June shooting weddings, births and other stuff I can't make the trip to Tokyo but Kunio kindly sent me some shots of the exhibition which you can see below.
And below those shots, I've included the actual images that have been used in the presentation.
Honestly, I've said this before, when I made the decision to move from DSLRs back in 2011/12 to Fujifilm it really did save my career. I fell back in love with photography at that time. I know I'm in a very privileged position to be a Fujifilm X-Photographer but I'm proud to be associated with a company that I believe has the genuine interest of photographers at heart, is forward thinking and, quite frankly, is full of bloody great people.
I don't really know what else to say about this. I'm still stunned at the fact that they asked, let alone that it's come to fruition. I'm stoked, tbh.
