Last Summer, Sarah and Tom asked me to be their Danesfield House Wedding Photographer.

And it was a sheer pleasure. In times gone by, I used to live in Marlow, Buckinghamshire so was always aware of Danesfield House.

However, until this sunny day in July last year, I'd never wandered up to the great house.

Of course, Danesfield House was not only a remarkable weddinging venue for Sarah & Tom but also George Clooney some months previously.

It was a fun, sun-soaked day. A moment, well, about two hours, of humour came from the fact that some of the critical guests ended up at the wrong wedding, so things were somewhat delayed.

However, the registrars and venue management took it all in their stride, and before too long, Sarah was walking down the aisle with her dad.

Once the formalities were completed, Sarah and Tom walked back down the aisle into the lovely terraced gardens for their drinks reception.

As a candid wedding photographer, I love the hustle and bustle that often occurs in the moments after the wedding ceremony itself.

The hugs, the smiles, the laughter and the congratulations. Because I work unobtrusively, with small cameras, and candidly, all of these moments can happen naturally without me, the photographer, getting involved at all (well, except for observing and photographing of course).
